Landscaping and Irrigation Across South-East Melbourne

Landscaping. Front yards, back yards, side strips, full property redesigns. Garden beds, edging, hedging, mulch, planting. The south-east gives us everything from sandy bayside blocks to heavy clay in the Waverley belt, and the right build order changes with the ground, so we quote from the block, not over the phone. We work on everything from period homes in the leafy inner south-east through to knockdown rebuilds.

Turf installs. Sir Walter Buffalo is what we recommend most often. It's tough, handles shade better than couch or kikuyu, and takes a Melbourne summer in its stride. We've laid a lot of it across the inner south-east, where mature trees make the light patchy. We do other varieties when they suit, and we'll tell you straight up which one is right for your block before you commit. Irrigation. Full Hunter systems with the Hunter Node controller and the app, so you can run zones from your phone. New installs, replacements of corroded older systems, drip lines for garden beds, sprinkler runs for lawns. Daniel, our registered plumber, handles the plumbing side.

Paving and retaining walls. Crossovers, paths, patios, courtyards. Block walls, sleeper walls, Versa-Loc. Built to handle the clay-heavy soils common across the eastern suburbs and the sandier ground closer to the bay.

Follow-ups. On bigger jobs we check back after the install to make sure the lawn or new planting is establishing properly. New turf especially needs committed watering for the first 2 to 3 weeks, and we'll walk you through it before we leave.

We service south-east Melbourne metro. The suburbs below are where most of our work happens. They split roughly into four areas, and each one has its own character and its own typical landscape problems.

The same crew turns up every time. There's no subcontracting your job out to whoever's free that week. I run the work, our regular blokes do the install, and Daniel, our registered plumber, covers the plumbing side of the irrigation.

We take small jobs seriously and big jobs even more seriously. Customers tell us they like the clear quoting, that we explain why we're recommending what we are, and that we follow up after the install to check the lawn or planting is settling in.

We're fully insured, with $5 million public liability through Bizcover plus Allianz WorkCover, and Daniel, our registered plumber, handles the plumbing side of the irrigation.

Things we don't do: we don't quote a dozen jobs a day. We won't race you to the cheapest price, we quote what it costs to do the job properly, once. We don't tell you we can fit you in next week if we can't. If we genuinely can't take a job on, we'll say so up front and try to point you at someone who can.
